No TV on Tuesday due to Game 3.  Game 4 is a VS exclusive though, so FSN will be airing the Pirates game.

Steve Pearce was recalled from Indianapolis and will most likely replace one of the extra pitchers on the bench.  If Jeff Clement continues to struggle at the plate, he could be replaced by Pearce. I certainly hope that if this happens Pearce is able to hit better than he did last year (.206/.296/.370).

Pirates look to snap a 3-game losing skid and come back from 5 games under with a 9-game home stand.  The Cubs have not exactly had a an amazing season so far, but are playing .500 ball at 13-13.

The Cubs have won only three series on the year, and two of them were against the Brewers (the other was a 4-game series with Arizona).

There is quite a few former Buccos on this team, including Tom Gorzelanny, John Grabow, Xavier Nady, and the always controversial Aramis Ramirez.  He is having a terrible season so far, only going .155/.215/.278.  He also has 3 HRs on the year.

The Cubs are surging right now, having gone 7-3 in their last 10.  The Bucs, meanwhile, have gone 3-7 in their last 10.  Needless to say, winning this series is mandatory if the Pirates want to stay alive in the division.
