A tough day for sports in the Burgh.  On the Pirates' side of things, Ross Ohlendorf, fresh off the disabled list, was pretty good, but the Bucs couldn't generate any offense off of Bronson Arroyo.

Cincy took a 1-0 lead in the 4th and held it until the 8th, where an error by LaRoche caused Votto to reach 2nd.  One batter later, he came in to score.

Ronny Cedeno hit the Bucs' first HR in a while, a solo shot, but nothing else got runners to the plate and the Reds held on for the win.

GAME.

Miscellaneous shit

The Bucs' pitching staff has not allowed a home run in six straight games.

Another good outing by the bullpen.  The only run allowed was unearned because of the LaRoche error.

Andrew McCutchen is tied for 5th in the NL in doubles and tied for 6th in hits.  He is 2nd in stolen bases with 10 and is the only player in the NL with double digits in doubles and steals, as well as RBIs.  He is 7th in the league in the NL batting title race, with .325.  His OBP, Slugging %, and OPS are the best on the team (.381/.504/.885).  Safe to say he's the Pirates' offensive MVP so far.  He's also 15th in the league in Total Bases.
