Sometimes you win the game, and sometimes the other team wins the game for you. That was the case this time as rookie 2B Blake Davis, playing in his first major league game, was unable to field a routine ground ball, instead allowing the winning run to score. Kevin Correia was able to hold on for his lead-tying 9th win, and Joel Hanrahan came in to earn his 20th save. The Bucs are back at .500 and now have a little momentum going into what will probably be a brutally tough series against the powerhouse Red Sox.

VFPH's 3 Stars of the Game

  3. BAL Nick Markakis, RF: 3 for 5, 1 RBI, double
Play of the Game: Blake Davis's fielding error that allowed 2 runs to score in the 5th
