Several times during this game it appeared that James McDonald would collapse, but it never actually happened. He worked out of several jams, included a bases loaded situation in the 4th where he was able to induce a double play and get out of the inning. The Pirates scored just enough and the bullpen was flawless to give J-Mac the Win.
