A year ago, this game would probably have been recorded as a 1-0 Pirates loss. But thankfully, this year's Pirates are different. They have the ability to score late in a game, something which last year's team almost never did. Josh Harrison had a beautiful debut, going 2 for 4 and hitting the game-tying RBI in the 8th and later scored on Neil Walker's game-winning single. Unfortunately, there was no decision for J-Mac because of the late developing offense, but after some bumps early, he easily handled the Mets the rest of the way. Don't look now, but the Pirates have allowed the fewest Earned Runs in all of baseball, and have the 7th-lowest team ERA as well.
