Charlie Morton's ERA is just 2.52 on the season, simply incredible when compared to his 7.57 mark last year. He was superb in this game, and the Bucco bats reawakened in a big way (7 of 10 hits were for extra bases). The Phillies threatened several times, including a bases-loaded situation for Joel Hanrahan in the 9th, but were never able to score more than one run in an inning. Early on, the Phillies would score 1 and the Pirates would respond with 2. It's clear that this Pirates team is a team on the rise. They've taken the series win against 1st place Philthadelphia, now they will look for a series sweep and to send the Phils to a 5-game losing streak. Another great win.
