This was a pretty crazy game. A few baserunning mistakes, a double that would have scored another run had it stayed in the park. It seemed like the universe was conspiring to make the Pirates fail to reach .500 when Stephen Drew drove in the go-ahead run in the 10th. But in the bottom, Andrew McCutchen doubled and Neil Walker hit a timely single to tie it back up again. Finally, in the 12th, Andrew McCutchen blasted one just inside the 3rd base foul pole for the walkoff home run, snapping the Dbacks' streak of not losing back-to-back games. Just as the offense saved some poor pitching last time, the pitching kept the Bucs in this one, especially Paul Maholm. He allowed just 1 hit in his 6 IP. The Pirates will look for the sweep later today.
