Title says it all.  Pitching was sucktastic.  Good thing the season is 162 games long instead of 1 game long.  Or maybe not.

GAME.

Miscellaneous shit

The previous record for worst game was 18-0 versus the Phillies on July 11, 1910.

Once again the Pirates left a shitload of guys on base, including Ryan Church striking out with the bases loaded.

Hitting was slightly better than yesterday, but the result was the same.

No Pirate had more than 1 hit in the game, but Garrett Jones had a hit and 2 walks.

Pirates end the series with a run differential of -35.  The scored a grand total of 1 run in the series.  Their overall run differential is -57 worst in the league by 22 less than Baltimore's -35

Lastings Milledge was caught stealing and picked off on two seperate occasions.

Pirates now head on a 10-game road trip that includes Houston, Milwaukee, and a 4-game series with the Dodgers.
