Recap: String Theory. BUCS LOSE.

Cardinals 0 0 0 1 1 0 1 0 X score-spacer 3 7 0 8

Just a victim of slow offense today. Bucs opened up a 2-0 lead in the 1st and then did basically nothing at all. James McDonald looked shaky coming off an injury, but he didn't really do anything that horrible other than walk 4 dudes. They kept his pitch count low, and he only pitched 4 innings.

Pirates just couldn't string together hits when they needed to. Other than the 1st, the Bucs had more than 1 baserunner in an inning exactly one time. Lyle Overbay got his first homer as a Pirate, and Tabata had a double. Overbay and McCutchen both went 2 for 3.

Game in like 0.4 seconds.
