Oh man, what a win. After Ross gave up a 3-run homer in the first, the Pirates pitchers combined for 13 straight scoreless innings, including working their way out of several jams. Jose Tabata finally ended it just past midnight by bouncing a double off the Clemente Wall, scoring Josh Rodriguez. Garret Olson picked up the Win as the only non-starter left for the Pirates. Jose Tabata and Jason Jaramillo both went 2 for 6. Tabata also had a homer in addition to his game-winning double. Ross was injured somehow during the game and left in the third inning. Jeff Karstens was great in long relief. 15 strikeouts for the Pirate pitching corps.

Walking off. Like a BOSS.

PNC Park was cold as balls, but it was totally worth it. Got a sweet new Pirates shirt, a sick Cutch/Walker/Tabata/Pedro poster, about 5 $1 hotdogs, and a Bucco win. Might be the best game I've ever attended.

Let's Go Bucs.
