Brad Lincoln gets sent down. Bucs SWEPT

Brad Lincoln's brief time with the Pittsburgh Pirates has come to an end, at least for now.  He was sent back down to AAA Indianapolis after his 4th major league loss.  I didn't think he pitched bad enough to get sent down, and I think that any issues he has should be worked out at the MLB level rather than down in AAA.  He did give up 5 runs in one inning, but that's happened to a lot of major league pitchers, even the great ones. Anyway, Brendan Donnelly got released as well, and that's probably a good decision as he has been pitching absolutely awful lately. Brad Lincoln will apparently be replaced by Daniel McCutchen (really!?) and Donnelly will be replaced by AAA reliever Wil Ledezma.

Andrew McCutchen made his return from the DL in this game, but it didn't really help the Pirates any more than not having him in.

Jose Tabata went 2 for 4, and Brad Lincoln went 2 for 2 with an RBI, raising his average to .400.  Ronny Cedeno had the best outing of the game for the Pirates, going 2 for 4 with a double and a home run.
