Interleague play.  To say that the Bucs don't do well in it is an understatement.  Their overall record in interleague games is just 71-110, worst in the league.  Last year, however, they did go 8-7 against the AL, which is encouraging.  Things never get any easier for the Hard Luck Bucs, as they will have to face the nearly-perfect Armando Galarraga in the last game of this series.  Now that the Pirates' season is all but over, maybe I can just enjoy watching the young players finally get a chance to show what they can do.  Andy LaRoche is finally on the bench, which makes me happy, even if it means Aki Iwamura is back at 2B.  He's been hitting okay as a pinch hitter, so who knows.  Maybe he'll start to resemble the Aki of 2008.  One can only hope.  Now if only I could understand why Russell wants to sit Jose Tabata in favor of Lastings Milledge...

Expected Pitching Matchups
