The Pirates have done well against bad teams, but now they have some stiffer competition. The Reds are always a threat, despite their being in a slump lately. Still, the Pirates have gone 5-1 against them this year, so the expectation is that that trend will continue. Charlie Morton will go tonight instead of James McDonald as had been previously announced, apparently because of incorrectly printed game notes. Rain is in the area, so a delay or postponement is possible.
