Not much to say about a loss like this except that one bad loss is not the end of the world. Even the '27 Yankees had a bad loss once in a while. The only way this game becomes more than game 36 out of 162 is if it causes the Pirates to spiral down into more losing and ultimately have them end up exactly where they were at the end of last season. But that's not going to happen this season. Keep the faith. Alvarez, Tabata, Walker and McCutchen will improve over the course of the season; you have to believe that. Otherwise, what point is there to watching the games?
