Kenny Geidel, the longtime vendor of Lemonade, Coke, Cotton Candy and other refreshments at Three Rivers Stadium, Mellon Arena, Heinz Field, PNC Park, and Consol Energy Center has passed away. It seemed like Kenny was always at every game, rain or shine. His familiar screeching call of "[LEMONADE/COKE/COTTON CANDY/ETC] HERE" was a part of my childhood as a sports fan in Pittsburgh and it's hard to believe that I will never be able to hear it again. Reports of his death indicate that he collapsed at PNC Park last night and passed away sometime during the night. The Pirates need to pay homage to this Pittsburgh icon tonight. R.I.P. Kenny.
