Some great pitching by Daniel McCutchen and the bullpen staff combined with some quality offense led to a Pirates series win against the Cardinals.

D-Cutch went 6.0 IP, allowing just 3 hits, 0 ER, 2 BB, and had 5 Ks. Joel Hanrahan closed the door in a non-save situation, although he did give up a run.

Ryan Doumit and Ronny Cedeno both went 2 for 4. Neil Walker hit a game-winning 3-RBI triple, and Garrett Jones tacked on some insurance with his 19th home run of the year.

Baltimore: Won 4-2, and lost 8-0.
