Sorry for the lack of updates, but I was busy moving all weekend. Hate to see the Pirates blow a big lead and lose in extra frames. And especially after a big offensive output.
Zach Duke went 5.1 innings, allowing 9 H, 4 R/ER, 1 BB, 1 K, and 2 HR. Joel Hanrahan struck out the side in the 8th.
Lots of offense in this game, but as usual it was ultimately meaningless. Jose Tabata and Neil Walker both went 3 for 6, Pedro went 2 for 4 with a walk, and Doumit went 2 for 5. Doubles were hit by Pedro and Tabata, while solo HRs were hit by Tabata and Walker, and Chris Snyder had a 3-run blast in the 3rd. Cutch walked home a run in the 2nd.
