Pirates 5, Twins 2
Andrew Lambo's 9th inning 2-RBI single capped off a huge rally to win a game that was tied at 2 since the 7th. Lyle Overbay had his first homer of the spring. Ronny Cedeno went 2 for 3, but was also caught stealing twice.
Brian Burres is quietly having a strong spring, with 6 IP, 0 ER, and just 3 Hits allowed. He pitched 2 innings in this one allowing no hits or runs. Rudy Owens did not have a great effort in relief, but Fernando Nieve had a bounce-back effort, earning the Win.
Next up is a night game with the Yankees at 7pm today, a game which will be broadcast on 104.7 FM. Pirates are 4-1 on the road in GL play.
