Pirates 8, Rays 7
Center Field was strong in this game as Andrew McCutchen and Corey Wimberly both had 2 hits (2 for 2 and 2 for 3, respectively). Pedro Alvarez and Dusty Brown both had doubles, while John Bowker hit his first home run of the year.
The bad news is that both Cutch (Wrist) and starting pitcher James McDonald (Left Side) were injured during the game and their status is currently unknown. This obviously is not good, as the two players are two of the best players on the Pirates. Hopefully these were minor injuries and their recovery will be quick.
Danny Moskos was awful.
Up next is another 1pm game against the Phils in McKechnie. It will be broadcast on ESPN 970 AM in Pittsburgh.
