Charlie Morton finally broke the Curse of 9. He went 6 scoreless innings, allowing just 3 hits and 3 BB while striking out 5. He was helped to victory by a rare (these days) homer by Pedro Alvarez, and a 2-run homer by Derrek Lee in the 8th to seal the deal. Joel Hanrahan picked up his 39th save of the season. The Bucs will try to win the series in a day game later today.
