The offense was almost entirely absent in this game, which wasn't helped by the pitching giving up 6 runs. J-mac wasn't terrible, giving up 3 runs, 2 of which were solo homers, but Joe Beimel is starting to look like a liability in the the pen. Right now he's a LOOGY who can't even get that one out, and I'd much rather have Tony Watson in that role than him. Unfortunately, 2 of the runs he gave up were charged to Jason Grilli, while the 3rd was unearned due to a Doumit throwing error, so his ERA actually went down. The Bucs will try to win their first road series since the first series back from the All-Star Break in an afternoon game at 3:45.

Recap: Another Goose Egg. BUCS LOSE.
