The last series before extensive interleague play begins is an important one. Win this series and the Pirates are back at .500 or above and still in the hunt for the division. Going against the Pirates is the fact that they haven't won in Houston since September of 2009 and they only went 4-11 against them all season. Still, they're 2-1 against the Stros this year and the feeling of the team is a much different one than it was last year. Also, there's that whole "Astros are the worst team in baseball" thing. Can't imagine what that's like. Meaningful baseball in mid-June is good food.
