The Pirates really need to even out their home record with the way they've played on the road so far. However, the teams the Pirates have lost to at home this year have either had recent success (Giants, Rockies) or have always been a team that gives the Pirates trouble (Brewers). The Astros lately have fallen into that second category, but with the way the Pirates handled the Nationals earlier this year at home, I'm optimistic about this series as long as Maholm doesn't struggle early and McDonald and Morton stay true to their recent success. If that happens, a sweep is not out of the question, but the Astros can give the Pirates the "just one of those days" syndrome if the Bucs don't take this team seriously. Tabata is back from injury!!
